Elihe is currently attending Arathusa Flexible Learning School and is keen to have a career as a butcher.
Having Asperger’s he finds it difficult to communicate effectively and this was a barrier to meeting with employers.
With the assistance on his Recruitment Partner Earl Kingi, Elihe was introduced to Bob from Lillybrook Meats Warner who agreed to starting Elihe as a school based trainee.
Bob commented that ” Elihe has been respectful, listen’s to everything and follows instruction” and he would look at a full time apprenticeship when Elihe finishes year 12.
Mum Deon said that Elihe’s whole personality has improved since doing the traineeship and all he talks about is that Fridays cant come around fast enough.
