Chief Executive Officer – Jamie Barden
Jaime joined Interact as the manager for Queensland in May 2019. Jamie’s expertise in clinical and community services spans over 15 years, including extensive experience in employment and pre- employment programs. Trained as a psychologist, he also holds post graduate qualifications in Criminology, Suicide Research and Employment Services.
Jamie’s leadership focuses on connectivity and building meaningful working relationships in the community that support and build the capacity Interact’s clients to establish independent and productive lives.
Jamie was appointed Chief Executive Officer in 2023.
National Manager | Quality, Compliance and Administration – Denise Skerry
Denise is the National Manager for Quality, Compliance and Administration, bringing over three decades of expertise in Quality, Compliance, and Risk management. As a certified Auditor, Denise has extensive experience spanning various sectors including DES, Jobactive, NDIS, state-level community services and Aged Care throughout Australia.
She oversees teams responsible for both internal and external audits in areas such as NDIS, DES, NIISQ, icare, TAC, ACIS and new certifications. Denise is committed to fostering continuous improvement and ensuring the efficient functioning of our organisation’s support services.
National Manager | Community and Care Services – Rebecca Adgey
Rebecca Adgey serves as the National Manager for our Community and Care Services. With more than a decade at Interact, Rebecca has held various frontline and management positions. Originally from Ireland, Rebecca brings international experience from the Aged Care and Disability sectors.
Rebecca’s extensive frontline and clinical experience enhances our service delivery, enabling us to offer a broad range of services within NDIS and catastrophic injury services.
National Manager | Disability Employment Services – Shiralee Mills-Bayne
Shiralee is the National Manager for our Disability Employment Services, boasting over 20 years of experience in Employment Services, including DES, DEN, and Disability Services. She has worked with prominent national providers such as Sureway, Assuria, and uLaunch.
Trained initially as a Social Worker, Shiralee skilfully combines her technical expertise and interpersonal skills to drive best practices and achieve successful outcomes for our DES caseload throughout Australia.
Executive Assistant – Edwin Leon
Edwin Leon is the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Interact Australia, playing a crucial role in supporting our expanding national operations.
A trained Economist, Edwin has a robust background in commercial banking and administration, having worked in both Colombia and Australia with international organisations such as Banco de Occidente, Banco Pichincha, Itau Corpbanca and Westpac Australia.
